April 21st, 2007.
Make-A-Wish Foundation Annual Scavenger Hunt.
This was probably the shortest event we've ever done, consisting of a two block march and photoshoot. But, it was a beautiful morning and the Empire is always happy to help charity organizations. I also helped to realize a friend's life-long dream of being a Stormtrooper for a day.
Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts Father Daughter Dance.
In 2007, the 501st opened a new web page for more people to contact us for event requests and this was one of the first we got. A fun evening, donating our time to their organization.

Crofton Library Visit 2
The OLG, doing their part for community service and of course as always, expanding the Empire, ventured to the Crofton Library to entertain almost nine hundred younglings and adults. We explained how each of the Empire's units were outfitted and prepared to do their job, as well as answer numerous questions and pose for the obligatory pictures.

Special Olympics BBQ, Kent Island MD.
This was a Law Enforcements BBQ that also gave awards to Special Olympics and provided a few eating contests to both adults and children. The OLG was on hand for the usual eye-candy. However, this event proved to be the hottest to date, with temps easily hitting 100F. Regardless, we trooped in a professional manner.

Shoreleave, Hunt Valley Marriott.
Seth Busino and myself, as representatives of the MEPD, presented 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson with a TE2 helmet and engraved beer mug. This was a fairly relaxed event, but unfortunately, it seems the Imperial presence tapers off year after year.

Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis.
Frederick, MD. We did this event last year, too, and both times were a success! Great showing by the MEPD and an awesome show of support from VA garrison Tyranus and Luke Harris for raising so much money.

Farpoint sci-fi convention. Once again, much like Shoreleave, the Mid-Eastern Garrisons converged for good times and three days of geekdom. Proud to say that I was the last trooper standing (again) and certainly the dirtiest Santrooper to be found.

Salisbury, MD. Center Mall.
My first tour with the Maryland Garrison to support the Center in creating child IDs. We spent the day attracting attention and let all the kids have their picture taken with us. We then gave them a Polaroid as a keepsake, and their parents got a valuable ID kit of their child. We also took the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the locals and let them know there was some new Mall security in place, Imperial security that is.
